Rant on Bad Books

I hate when an author uses so many statistics like “Research shows this, research shows that” and never gets to the point, simplistically at least. They just rant on with all the research and analysis they’ve done and this totally kills the joy out of reading by making it no longer personable. This is why I hated reading when I was little.

Sometimes, I think some authors write a lot bullshit just to fill in the pages and have a bigger book. Because a bigger book means that it’s more professional right? NO. There is nothing wrong with a short book that gets to the point. The best books I’ve read are one that are efficient and personable.

And not surprisingly enough, this style of writing usually comes from Academics and Researchers - people who have been going to school for too long.

if you miss someone who does not miss you, or who is no good for you, or is unattainable, take all the love you once felt for them and spread it around other places. put your love in worthwhile people and things, turn the romance in to passions for hobbies or admiration for others- enrich your own life. focus on yourself and those who actively make you happy.

I saw dad in a dream on a beach last night smiling with a camera. I waved and smiled to the camera. He asked how I was doing and if I was married yet. Initially, I started choking up and then I told him I was good. I was about to tell him that I just got a job and that I have somewhat made it somewhere in life, when cars started driving from the ocean to land and towards us. We tried to move away but couldn’t as he was too old and weak at this point. The cars ran him over and then everything disappeared.

After that hate started rising up from me and I started yelling FUCK YOU to everybody and everything. It was like a nightmare and I started becoming destructive and drove a motorcycle recklessly inside a mall. Eventually, I was stopped and that’s when I woke up.
